Obama: Civil War Disguised as Politics?

When I ran for the U.S. Senate against Barack Obama I did my best to speak the truth. I knew when I accepted the invitation of the Illinois Republicans that I stood little or no chance of victory. With few exceptions, everyone I consulted advised against it. Most thought it political suicide. But the facts convinced me that Obama is a dangerous left-wing extremist. When confronted with the proven depravity of his moral views, my faith and conscience convicted me as well. After years of telling audiences that we had to stand for right and truth no matter what the cost, I felt that the Lord would hold me accountable if I refused to walk the talk. Sometimes we are not called to victory, but to witness for truth, as Jesus did, even unto death.

So when I campaigned in Illinois I let no false ambition; no kind of blandishment or intimidation; and no whispers of political gain or loss distract me from speaking the truth. I talked about Obama's extremist support for abortion (including his unconscionable willingness to tolerate infanticide in Illinois hospitals); I described him as a hard line socialist, pointing out his uncompromising commitment to central government control of health care and education; I pointed to the contradiction between his professed support for traditional marriage and his consistent promotion of the homosexual agenda. I remember talking to people, including Republican leaders, and others who have built little empires and big reputations as leaders of the so-called "Christian right", (what I call more appropriately the moral conservatives). Time and again I heard in response feckless mumblings about how moderate he seemed in his speech at the Democratic convention. Time and again I felt the implication that I was somehow exaggerating, imprudently "demonizing the opposition." They did little or nothing. And when the pro-abortion elements of the Illinois Republican Party openly went on the offensive against my refusal to back down from my stand for moral principle and real conservatism, in silence and inaction these leaders complied with their politically ruthless intention.

Meanwhile I and my family encountered from the Obama forces the ugliest indignities I have ever experienced in politics: Parades in which Obama's marshaled minions shouted curses and epithets almost every step of the way; and forums in which they rudely launched expletives with gestures just short of physical violence. At one such forum the environment they created was so ugly that my wife was visibly shaken, and my daughter in tears. Even on Election Day, when we went to the polling place to vote, a man there created a disturbance. He shouted insults. He acted in a physically threatening way. Nothing was done to stop him, and the pandering Illinois media breathed hardly a word about it in their so-called news coverage.

In all of this there was a hard edged disdain for decent civility that reminded me of the murderous invective Lenin launched against those who opposed the communist agenda. But it all took place behind a media fabricated façade of false hope and moderateness, like the propaganda screen behind which the totalitarians of the twentieth century hid their perpetration of atrocity.

Having felt the cutting edge of this reality, on election night I refused to engage in the nice ritual usually associated with the resolution of our political contests in America. Obama's people treated politics as war. But in war only gutless servility congratulates a ruthless opponent on the victory he has gained without civility. Mine was to be sure, a silent protest but loud enough to have some so-called leaders, supposedly on my side, losing no opportunity to "apologize" for my behavior.

Since 2004 I have walked in the political wilderness. This walk is not without its burdens, but I am heartened when I remember whose footsteps I find there: those of people like Reagan and Winston Churchill who in their dedication to right refused to let ambition triumph over truth. Assaulted, ridiculed, caricatured, ignored, at times reduced to a small and almost covert band of like-minded adherents, they kept their faith. They witnessed the rising power of the evils they warned against. They witnessed the policies of appeasement, retreat and surrender practiced by unprincipled leaders in the face of those evils. They witnessed the day when hard experience finally forced those who had all but forgotten their existence to turn and make a stand against wickedness triumphant over freedom.

I have an ominous feeling about the years ahead. With Obama, we have crossed the line that separates civil politics from civil war disguised as politics. Occupying the White House is a man known for his support and association with people (like leftist Kenyan politician Raila Amollo Odinga) for whom that line appears never to have existed. I predict that American politics as we have known it is gone. And unless we Americans wake up, more than civil politics will end up dead. For there are other footsteps in this wilderness, left by leaders who opposed the Communists when they took over Eastern European countries in the late 1940s, or Asian countries in the fifties, or African countries in the sixties, or South American and South African countries in the eighties, and so on. Mostly we do not know their names, nor can we mark the spot where their lives were overtaken because their compatriots did not wake up in time. But, with the Psalmist, I will fear no evil, for here, as everywhere, I see the footprints of the one who conquered death itself. Wherever they lead, there is life renewed.

Prior to the election I was doing research on Obama and his political experience. I was looking on ontheissues.org and a quote from you came up when I was reading through Obama's views on abortion. It reflected my thoughts so well that I then researched what you were all about.

I watched some of the debates you had with Obama, and I could not believe how any Christian voter could take his side over yours. He was unwilling to say that Jesus is the only way to heaven. You quoted scripture, applied it and articulated your beliefs far better than he ever has. He is a very good debater but you absolutely won. Sadly Illinois is a little to far left to consider someone as right as yourself.

So that was my introduction to you. I have been reading through your blogs, watching some videos and I am so impressed by the amount of conviction you have. It is a trait I wish I had in every aspect of my life, but I do not. It is a great encouragement that there are 'politicians' in the USA that understand the constitution and more importantly they understand and are convicted by the necessity of GOD.

When you requested that the moderator ask you the question about schools, that she asked the other candidates in the Iowa debate and then said "why do I only get 30 seconds, when everyone else got a 60?"
That was probably one of the coolest things ever.

Hi Alan,
I love you brother and thank you so much for standing up for all of us Americans and the United States government. I have heard you many times on O'Reily and a few other networks and you sound like Christ is really leading your life. I feel sorry that you all had to go through the foolishness that you and your family went through when you ran against OBama but you knew I guess that you were in for a fight but sometimes we do not know just how evil that the fight can be till we get in the battle. You, your family and the other Christian Senators, and house members are in my prayers daily and I can only hope that we can pray enough to get these Godless abortion laws and this Godless spending and greed overturned from our government and society.

Bless You,
Evvy Johnson

Hi Alan,
Thanks brother for standing up for America and all of us that have little or no voice in our government. I will pray everyday that I live for this Godless abortion law to be overturned and for the Godless spending that our Congress has so abundently dolted out to their co-hearts to be either used wisely or overturned for the sake of our nation and for the sake of our people. Seems to me that sending tax payers money to other nations for abortions or for this nations abortions is very good management of our money. Take care and please keep standing up for America!

Bless You,
Evvy Johnson

Americans need to wake up. We are in the throes of a complete disaster. Our country and what we stand for is clearly at risk of being put to the sword. A revolution in the form of as "civil war" might become a reality.

I think it is important for all those who stand against evil to remember that it is God who has sent the strong delusion(the lie) which so many follow here in America to judge those who love not the truth but take pleasure in wickedness.

Alan ,you were the light for good and truth which the evil ones rejcted for the darkness they embrace.
If only they knew the eternal consequences of the choice they have made.

Those who are our enemy may correctly assume those that believe in the Constitution to be more law abiding than rebellious, more patient than wanting to violently protest, and will hope and pray for better times even when the time is too late to take action. So far they have been proven wrong once as witnessed in 1861-1865. It appears the days of praying for change was answered, we got Change. They only fear one thing, loss of power and control. The contructionalist view of the Constitution is a hindrance to their goals. Will we allow the Constitution and this country to be “changed” or will we make them remember 1861?

What was discussed at a closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives?

Tuesday March 25, 2008 7:37pm EST

BRISBANE, Australia - The House has held a closed session for the first time in 25 years and apparently discussed a hotly contested surveillance bill.

Republicans had requested privacy for what they termed "an honest debate" on the new Democratic eavesdropping measure.

Conspiracy theorists around the world have filled many pages of blogs and emails with theories as to why the public was prevented to hear what their elected representatives said and heard.

That is the nature of secrets: those "kept in the dark" want to know and in the absence of knowledge, seek answers.

Writers suggested that the special closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives discussed a lot more than the pending security surveillance provisions.

Last week's session was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed it's doors to the public.

Word has begun leaking from last weeks special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.

Theorists wrote "Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed: The imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008, the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009, the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse and advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government.

Also theorised was the detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA and the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses and the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest

Other answers included "the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada" (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool), the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.

Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed and ABC News via WCPO web site at the link below CONFIRMS congress members were FORBIDDEN to talk about it!

Several are so furious and concerned about the future of the country, they have begun leaking info. Also, reported in Financial Sense article---- part of article here:
ECONOMIC COLLAPSE IN SEPTEMBER?
by Clif Droke
May 19, 2008

A rumor is swirling around the Internet that an inglorious end to the U.S. economy is imminent. Unlike previous rumors to this effect, this one carries the weight of recent events in the financial realm and has many believing the rumor will come to pass.

Let’s examine some of the claims being made: On March 18, 2008, a “closed door” session of Congress was held for only the fourth time in history. According to House Rule XVII, clause 9, it is forbidden for members of the U.S. House of Representatives to reveal the discussions held behind those doors. The penalty for leaking such information includes loss of seniority, fines, reprimand, censure or expulsion. According to news sources, one purpose of the meetings was to discuss new surveillance techniques to be used by U.S. Homeland Security. Rumors continue to swirl as to what the other topics of discussion took place in that meeting.

According to the Australia.TO newspaper, as reported in the May 2008 Last Trumpet Newsletter (LTM), several congressmen were so incensed about what was discussed behind those doors that they were compelled to leak the contents of the meeting. Following is what is rumored to have been discussed: Imminent collapse of the U.S. economy by September 2008; imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009; possibility of civil war within the U.S. resulting from the collapse; detainment of “insurgent U.S. citizens” in anticipation of their moving against the government; the potential for violent action taken by citizens against members of Congress due to the collapses; the merger of the U.S. economy with those of Canada and Mexico as a solution to the collapse; the introduction of a new tri-national currency called the “AMERO” as another economic solution. And the LTN report of it here: MAY 2008

On the 13th day of March 2008, a rare "closed door" session was held by the United States House of Representatives. It was only the fourth time in the history of the United States that the House of Representatives closed the doors and met in absolute secrecy. Thus, those who were elected to represent the people of the United States would not allow the people to know what they were meeting about. Furthermore, House Rule XVII, clause 9, forbids the Representatives from revealing what was discussed. The penalty for leaking such information includes loss of seniority, fine, reprimand, censure, or expulsion! What went on behind those closed doors where every member was sworn to absolute secrecy, to always conceal and never reveal? We know that the only reason for secrecy is to hide evil. The news media said almost nothing about the secret conclave, but it was mentioned only that one of the items being discussed was the new surveillance techniques that are going to used by the U.S. Government to watch every American. (19)

After diligently searching for more information, I finally found what I was looking for in an Australian newspaper. The story appeared in Australia.TO from Brisbane, Australia. The article stated that ABC News via WCPO confirmed that Congress members were forbidden to talk about what went on in their secret meeting. Several of the Representatives, however, were so furious and concerned about the future of the country that they began leaking info. Here are some of the things that were reportedly leaked out regarding the secret meeting: Discussion regarding the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008 - The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009 - The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse - The advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government - The detention of those rounded up at REX 84 camps constructed throughout the United States - The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses - The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest - the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada and Mexico - The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution. (20) Obviously, there is no documentary proof for the above as the meetings were secret. The information, however, does fit the profile of what is going on around us. Our Almighty Saviour is ultimately in charge. Time will tell if these things are so, and time is running out! NOTE: 2-14-09 1.The economy did collapse in Sept.2008,and to prevent chaos a "Bailout" of $750billion dollars was forced on Congress under threat of Martial Law and was passed. It has failed and it is a projected $8.5 Trillion Bailout to date. The people flooded their Reps with calls in opposition 1,000 to 1 against it,but it was passed.2.On Feb.13th,2009,a "stimulus" package of $787.5 Billion was passed without one person reading it.This confirms the 2nd part of the leaked information above regarding bankruptcy of the government. At this date, regardless of what transpires in the next few months,it is clear that the information leaked about that Closed Door Senate Session was and is true.Since last September,2008 articles regarding a New World Order and possible civil war and Martial Law in the USA are now in the mainstream media.Already,we are seeing riots across the globe against governments that are collapsing and experiencing the same tyrannical abuse of its people as is taking place here. There is open talk of the NAU and Amero now. There's also open talk of a coming "generated crisis" in the USA before June 2009.Over 20 States in the USA are trying to pass laws on state sovereignty to protect its rights against the Federal government when Martial Law takes place.Gun sales have gone through the roof in the past six months. It appears that the Illuminati is going to crush the US economy and thus the world's stock markets to bring in the cashless society and NWO.How many transitional phases will take place is anyone's guess. But the goal appears to be 2012.

Seriously though, get over it. President Obama is an American and many of the military men and women that I come across do NOT believe this EVIL that you are spewing. You claim to be a Christian, then I ask, WWJD? The answer is certainly not what you are doing. You are seeking to destroy someone else's reputation because you are bitter. This is hatred and it should not be tolerated. This man has done nothing to you. And to tell a woman that she cannot abort a FETUS; not an actual baby, after something that has resulted from a hate crime, such as rape is criminal in its own right.

You just want to be heard, and I get that, but you can do it in a respectful manner. And I ask, where were you when President Bush STOLE the election from Vice President Gore? Remember that the Bible says to love even your enemy and to forgive. I forgive you for the hatred in your heart and in your soul.

Alan, you are not alone in the wilderness. Leftist Totalitarians (Liberals) have done a good job in the last few decades of shouting conservatism into a corner. But, Obama has awakened the sleeping giant. A giant equipped with the internet (until Cass Sunstein & Mark Lloyd snatch it from us). A giant that believes in individualism & freedom. Climategate!? VAT tax in HC bill!?

Well It might be. But Obama is more sincere than Bush. Sometimes we have to take decision according to the situation.
